Community Manager (UK)
who is passionate about games, gaming communities, influencer relationships, communications, and social media. This contributor role works in close partnership with integrated marketing and game teams to build excitement and relationships on behalf of the company. The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and a student of brand marketing and communications.
Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.ResponsibilitiesCreate communications (e.g., social posts, blogs) with high levels of quality and timeliness.Manage blog content calendars.Act as public-facing representative of Intrepid, and communicate on behalf of the brand across multiple channels and at events.Drive the design and execution of United Kingdom English community development efforts.Manage communications plans and channels, striving for continuous improvement.Strategize and execute on reactive communications to players.Create engagement opportunities at in-person and online events.Analyze and report on content performance data to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation.Provide meaningful feedback to game teams on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions.Collaborate with global teammates.Ensure quality on behalf of the team and brand.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Communications, Writing, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 5 years’ experience with brand communications, writing, forums, and social mediaA minimum of 2 years’ experience with channel management, publishing calendars, and reporting and analyticsStaff coaching experienceFamiliar with project management and process improvementAble to travel, including international travel, and work long hours and weekends as neededPlusesAdvanced degrees in communications, marketing, or related fieldProject management training and experienceA passionate gamer possessing ample experience with Intrepid gamesExisting strong personal network within Intrepid’s communitiesVideo publishing and / or graphic arts experienceRequired Application MaterialsResumeCover Letter which should include:
