Position SummaryOne temporary hourly-intermittent bridge student assistant position in Communication Studies.Start DatePosition available on or after July 1, 2024, and ending on or before June 30, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.Job Description/DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:
Coordinate community engagement activities for KCSS Radio Station including live music for Warrior Wednesday and other campus events.Provide public relations and promotional support for the KCSS student management team.Attend regular KCSS staff meetings. Develop and maintain KCSS Website and Social Media channels.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates the willingness to commit to employment through June 30, 2024.Demonstrates working knowledge of the operation of a college radio station, some management and non-commercial radio experience.Demonstrates completion of one semester of COMM 3112.Demonstrates effective organizational and communication skills.Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office.Demonstrates prior experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
Special ConditionsCSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be immunized against COVID-19 or declare a medical or religious exemption from doing so.
