Barry-Wehmiller is a diversified global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology for the packaging, corrugating, sheeting and paper-converting industries.Job Description:The Vice President, Strategic Marketing is responsible for driving the company's strategic direction, overseeing product line management, and fostering both technical and commercial innovation across the organization. The VP, Strategic Marketing will set the vision, roadmap and execution path for the life of all Barry-Wehmiller Filling & Closing (BWFC) Products, including Aftermarket products. This individual will be instrumental in driving a comprehensive understanding of BWFC’s current and potential markets and developing and implementing strategies to deliver profitable growth.Job Responsibilities:Strategic Leader for BWFC – developing both Company and Product StrategiesOwn and manage all BWFC Product Lines P/Ls for full Product Lifecycle, from ideation to launch, aftermarket and sunsettingSupport BWFC Global Product Managers as they seek to enhance their Product Lines profitability through Revenue, Pricing, Costs, and Distribution initiativesDrives company understanding of gaps and needs across the full family of product lines through active interaction with the Market, Customers, Competitors, Sales and Service Team, etc.Driving force for Commercial and Technical InnovationEnsure BWFC maximizes our potential aftermarket opportunities through the development of innovative product development, pricing strategies, etc.Collaborate with Market Companies and Value Streams to align product roadmaps and global manufacturing strategies with market demandsFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvementDrives organization to meet key market needs and trends (such as IoT, remote monitoring, and sustainability/material trends)Meet customers to understand their needs, collect and consolidate their views on the market direction and support Market Companies when required through sales calls, presentations, customer seminars, etc.Build World Class Strategic Marketing Team, including Marcom; positions BWFC for success in the market.Education/Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field10+ years of experience in strategic marketing or product management roles5+ years of hands-on global marketing experience specifically focused on capital equipmentRemote opportunity available for the right candidate.At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
