LHH is teaming up with an established non-profit in the property management industry in search of a temporary, bilingual Assistant Community Manager. This is a wonderful opportunity to help support an organization whose mission is to provide safe and affordable housing to those in need.
This role is crucial for managing daily operations and supporting our affordable housing community. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with diverse residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Answer phones, check and respond to emails and voicemails, place work orders, send out verifications, and manage filing.
Resident Services: Schedule income verification appointments, process lease agreements, maintain the housing waitlist, and assist with re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, and various compliance reviews (MOR and TCAC).
Property Management: Issue notices, schedule vacancies, prepare and monitor turnover forms, and assist in rent collection, security deposits, petty cash logging, and bank deposits.
Maintenance Coordination: Inspect property to identify maintenance and security issues, coordinate inspections with facilities staff, and ensure timely processing of work orders.
Community Relations: Support relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agencies, communicate emergency preparedness procedures to residents, and organize logistics for resident meetings.
Confidentiality: Maintain resident and property files with strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
High School Diploma and at least 1 year of experience in an administrative/office setting required
Experience in the Non-Profit, Property Management, or Real Estate industries strongly preferred
Customer service experience strongly preferred
Great written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Job Type:
Contract, 100% on-site

Start ASAP – October 3rd, 2024. Possibility of extension or conversion to FTE.

$24.50/hour
Hours:
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM/Monday - Friday
