**THIS JOB IS FULLY ONSITE IN JACKSONVILLE, FL**We are hiring for a Medical Device Manufacturing company based out of Jacksonville, FL to relocate and join an awesome team of like-minded individuals looking to kickstart their careers in the 3D Design space! Relocation packages are available.In this role you will be responsible for designing medical implant devices and components, working closely with engineers and product developers to bring innovative healthcare solutions to market. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, material properties, and medical industry standards.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 3D models of medical devices, components, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar).Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing, taking into account material properties, cost efficiency, and production processes.Develop and maintain a library of 3D models, including parametric and non-parametric models, for use in various stages of product development.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure design specifications meet project requirements.Participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.Communicate design intent clearly through detailed technical drawings and documentation.RequirementsBachelor's degree in 3D Design or relevant industryInternship experience in 3D design, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).Experience with rapid prototyping technologies (e.g., 3D printing).Ascendo is a certified minority-owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
