JOB SUMMARYThe Marketing Coordinator serves as a resource for all departments at McKenney's in supporting all marketing projects, initiatives, and disciplines, including digital marketing, advertising, communication, administrative support, database management, design, content, event coordination, and customer experience. This role is essential to the success of our projects and requires exceptional attention to detail, creativity, energy, self-motivation, and excellent people skills with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry and technical environment.DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Assist in the implementation of marketing plans and programs, including advertising, public relations, promotions, and collaterals. Supports the team by monitoring progress, producing reports, communicating with the team, and analyzing results.* Monitors and reports on relevant market information for customers and competitors across all media channels.* Support team by developing content and/or design for various projects, templates, and deliverables required to execute marketing plans and initiatives.* Manage and lead small teams on specific marketing campaigns or projects. Acts as a project manager on assigned projects.* Support implementation of a Digital Marketing/Media strategy including developing posts, managing schedule/calendar, curating content, and producing progress reports.* Support the team in onboarding new members, promoting marketing knowledge, and demonstrating their understanding across the organization.* Support senior team members in managing the marketing help desk, social media, event planning, and McKenney's store.* Support the proposal and business acquisition process and needs.* Monitor department budget and vendor relationships. Produce reports and analysis on resources and department assets and McKenney's store.* Participate in implementing technology solutions and development processes by leveraging technology and conducting business process analysis to identify key business needs, issues and/or gaps.* Organize team meetings and create agendas and follow-up notes.* Communicate with internal customers and partners on the progress of projects and initiatives.* Help the team develop a marketing/sales team integration through technology by:o Researching and recommending tools to help marketers/sales teams execute campaigns.o Managing digital marketing lead generation and conversion.o Enabling sales team with insight, communications, and workflows.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS* Major in Marketing, Journalism, or Business with one to two years of experience* Knowledge and experience with MS Office and Adobe Creative SuitePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* Marketing support work experience* Graphic design and web design experience* Content development/messaging experience* Project management* Social media/digital marketing experience* Enjoys working with people and in a collaborative environment* Experience in the construction industry* Strong preference for technology and innovation* Salesforce experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND CHARACTERISTICS* Exceptionally detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in fast-moving ambiguous environments.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Understanding of marketing principles.* Organizational skills and ability to successfully follow through with tasks.* Must be able to manage several projects and responsibilities at once, as the role will involve supporting the marketing needs of multiple departments.* Serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines.* Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethics as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others.* Must be computer savvy, comfortable with data entry, and able to quickly and effectively learn new software or technology.Moving Safety Forward, our initiative for continuous improvements in our safety culture, reminds us that we are on a journey toward a zero-incident culture.
