The Insights Center of Excellence supports data driven Marketing by empowering teams to make effective decisions with actionable insights. The Customer Insights Manager with focus on Advertising will ensure best practice research methodology and design to provide stakeholders with reliable, valid, and insightful information to inform decision making.

The Customer Insights Manager will focus on Ad testing and campaign effectiveness measurement, leading primary end user research using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Must be able to communicate about best practice methodologies and deliver insights as a meaningful story. The Customer Insights Manager will have responsibility for both consumer and commercial offerings across Lenovo's range of products and solutions and may manage other projects and programs within the COE as well.

This role requires collaboration and effective communication with global stakeholders. Must have flexibility in daily schedule and a willingness to work outside of typical working hours when meeting with colleagues and agencies in other parts of the world, with flexibility. The Insights manager will be a highly detail-oriented, analytical, proactive strategic thinker. Must be able to lead our Marketing and product team stakeholders to leverage insights throughout their work. The right candidate will have a strong background in market research, a deep understanding of ad testing methodologies, and a passion for creative evaluation.

Basic Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, MBA, MMR, IMC or other related Masters preferred10+ years experiencePrefered Requirements:

Ability to drive complex, large-scale, multi-country research projects, navigating nuance of multiple cultures in a matrixed environment.Proven ability in driving cross-functional marketing teams/stakeholders towards common goalPrevious market research experience in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including segmentation frameworks and research driven decision journeysProven experience with survey questionnaire design and ability to write and/or edit surveys for complex topicsUnderstanding of typical research methodologies such as conjoint analysis, max diff, typing algorithms, etc.Understanding of media activation / targeting process within a global Marketing organizationPrevious experience in managing agency partners with complex projectsAn analytical mind, able to manage details but also see the big picture in order to tell the storyStrong attention to detail and willingness to work through any issues that emergeExcellent communication skills - written and verbalAction oriented & results driven - can 'make things happen'Ability to work independentlyPC/Technology industry experience is a plus
