Position Summary

Mega TV is seeking a TV Booker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and booking high-profile guests and talent for our television shows. This role involves coordinating interviews, managing schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with talent, agents, and publicists to ensure smooth and timely guest appearances on Mega TV's programming. The candidate will also utilize various online platforms such as Zoom, Skype, and other virtual tools to schedule and coordinate remote interviews.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing: Research, identify, and secure guests and talent (celebrities, influencers, industry experts, etc.) for various Mega TV shows.Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews and appearances, ensuring all logistics are arranged (e.g., travel, timing, location). Utilize platforms such as Zoom, Skype, or similar tools for remote interviews.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with talent representatives, agencies, and publicists.Interview Preparation: Collaborate with producers and hosts to prepare interview briefs and ensure they are well-informed about the guest's background and key talking points.Contracts & Agreements: Handle agreements and booking confirmations, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed for talent appearances.On-Set Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for talent on the day of their appearance, ensuring they are comfortable and that everything runs smoothly.Show Promotion: Coordinate with marketing and social media teams to promote upcoming interviews and guest appearances.Problem Solving: Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, or other issues that may arise with talent or scheduling.Qualifications & Skills:Essential duties and responsibilities are those most important or most frequently performed duties. Employees will be required to perform other job-related duties as required.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in talent booking, casting, or public relations, preferably in TV or entertainment.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with high-profile talent.Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking and organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail in coordinating multiple schedules.Technology Proficiency: Experience using online platforms such as Zoom, Skype, and other virtual meeting tools to schedule and coordinate remote interviews.Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain industry relationships.Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and manage last-minute scheduling issues or changes.Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, based on guest availability.Bachelor’s degree in communications, Media, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred but not required based on relevant experience.
