Purpose of Position:

Working in collaboration with cross-functional and external partners, the Director, Global Marketing is accountable for delivering a strong and consistent brand experience that raises awareness with key audiences. The qualified candidate will foster creativity, generate unbridled enthusiasm for the brand, and identify new and innovative ways to leverage the brand to establish intimacy and engender loyalty among consumers.

Manage, direct, and build strategy for marketing department and customer care department. Act as key role working closely with Sr Director of Global Sales, Director of Global Product Category Management and VP of Commercial Growth to develop and implement growth strategies in North America and international markets.

Essential Duties and/or Functions:Provide senior leadership to the marketing, graphics, and event teams to ensure all members understand the objectives.Support growth in B2B and B2C channels for Team Wendy products, prioritizing efforts to deliver impactful results tied to annual budgetsDevelop, own, and articulate differentiated value propositions, compelling benefits, customer outcomes, and the positioning of Team Wendy products and services in the marketplaceServe as the expert in our market and customers for Military, Special Operations, First Responders, and Outdoor Sport Enthusiasts including our prospect personas, market trends, opportunities and challengesOversee the development of marketing & advertising communication projects including websites, sales tools, marketing collateral, content development, aligned with corporate communications. Oversee control for approved marketing budgets and strategic product launches.Understand our competition at a granular level and how to position our products & solutions based on our differentiators. Conduct competitive and market research, develop ideal customer profiles, and conduct win/loss analysis.Lead go-to-market efforts for new product launches and marketing programs, including developing positioning, messaging, value propositions, and integrated marketing plansBuild our customer marketing expertise by turning customers into advocates - generating case studies, testimonials, customer videos, and other customer-driven marketing and sales assetsProvide leadership to the Customer Care team, developing strategies that ensure Team Wendy experience is viewed as a best-in-class.Collaborate with product category management & engineering to understand the roadmap, new feature/offer plans, and proactively plan for new product releasesBuild sales enablement tools such as battlecards, pitch decks, one-pagers, etc. and support sales training efforts to educate them on the Avon Protection story and our go-to-market strategyRequired Minimum Qualifications:

BS/BA level degree in Marketing, Public Relations. MBA preferred.10 or more years within related product marketing management experience.Proven marketing leadership with the Defense and First Responder areasDemonstrated ability to build customer and industry relationships.Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a variety of global sales cultures.Proficiency in written and oral communication/presentation skills.Demonstrated capabilities in a variety of data collection and survey techniques.A demonstrated capability to think strategically and execute tactically. The successful candidate must be an integrative thinker with a strong foundation in data driven problem solving.A demonstrated depth and breadth in business acumen across the major functional disciplines including Business Development, Engineering, operations, Finance, Contracts, Business Development and Sales.Ability to travel within North America and InternationallyPreferred/Desired Skills and/or Responsibilities:

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $170,000 to $185,000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
