Purpose

The CWS Regional Fundraising Manager will be responsible for supporting private fundraising in the Harrisburg region. They will ensure that CWS Harrisburg is able to maintain robust reserves of unrestricted funds to support diverse initiatives and basic needs of refugees. They will report directly to the Office Director and collaborate closely on fundraising priorities and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Core Tasks:Meet or exceed CWS Harrisburg's annual development and fundraising goals.Create CWS Harrisburg's annual impact report.Plan, manage and execute 1- 2 fundraising events a year.Plan, manage and execute fundraising appeals to include the annual appeal as well as special fund drives.Meet or exceed metrics and goals for the fiscal year for corporate, individual, major and congregational donors.Create and manage a donor appreciation program, including creating specific content and events for donors.Oversee administration of responsibilities including but not limited to donor management software, acknowledgements, and direct mailings.Planning, design and creation of fundraising materials to include printed and digital collateral.Oversight of digital marketing and promotion relative to fundraising.Train, supervise, and work collaboratively with the Development Officer to meet and exceed fundraising goals.Create, manage, execute and assess the fundraising plan.Supervise staff in accordance with CWS personnel policies and guidance from CWS Human Resources.Other Responsibilities:

Participate in all senior and general leadership team meetings and initiatives.Work closely with the Community Engagement Team to proactively plan initiatives, share information, collaborate and keep communication channels open and responsive.Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency.Work to promote an equitable and inclusive office environment.Follow the Donor Bill of Rights and the AFP Code of Ethics.Perform other related duties and projects as requested.Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

Minimum of six years' experience in non-profit fundraising.

Experience in refugee resettlement is a plus.

Experience in Salesforce and CRM management is strongly preferred.

2 years supervisory experience required.

Other Skills:

Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet, database and Web-based applications.

Strong organizational, diplomatic and priority-setting skills.

Strong budgetary skills.

Energetic individual with clear and effective written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to travel as necessary, sometimes on short notice.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Self-starter.
