Position Description

ARPA-H creates an environment to support the best ideas from Program Managers that bring together dynamic teams to solve the toughest health challenges. Their rigorous program design, competitive project selection process, and active program management ensure thoughtful and impactful innovations thrive. ARPA-H Program Managers serve for limited terms to ensure a constant infusion of fresh thinking and new perspectives.

ARPANET-H is ARPA-H's nationwide health innovation network that connects people, innovators, and institutions. ARPANET-H collects feedback, awards R&D funding opportunities, and convenes network events to further the ARPA-H mission of developing entirely new ways to tackle the hardest challenges in health. This network is anchored by three regional hubs, one of which is called the Customer Experience Hub (CX Hub) and is focused on designing for the American people and their caregivers.

This CX Hub puts people at the center of ARPA-H programs and projects, developing technologies that will be accessible, desirable, and affordable for all. The CX Hub is located in Dallas, TX and is managed by the Consortium Management Firm ATI; its nationwide network currently consists of ~400 members (called spokes) that span the health innovation ecosystem, including academic institutions, health care companies, and community-based organizations. Active and accurate communication in line with ARPA-H's messaging is key to the CX Hub’s efforts to facilitate collaboration between the spokes and ARPA-H as well as among spokes themselves.

Reporting to the Customer Experience and Lead Design SME, this position requires an experienced, dedicated, self-motivated individual who will develop, manage, and execute the brand marketing plan and associated activities. This includes developing integrated marketing plans, leading brand positioning and communications, supporting new ARPA-H programs and launch activities with targeted outreach to spokes, potential applicants, and other relevant organizations, as well as promotional planning and execution. The plans and campaigns created by this individual will be designed to expand awareness of the CX Hub brand and activities to key target audiences, including the CX Hub’s own spokes. This person will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong business acumen and a passion for healthcare and service.
