The Apple Human Interface Design team conceptualizes, designs, and creates the user experience for all Apple products and services. They're enthusiastic about collaborating with a dynamic team of talented folks to bring new products to life.DescriptionBe a strong, collaborative partner with product designers, engineers, leadership, and partner teams to contribute to the design vision.Create and maintain multi-platform design systems and component libraries that embody and extend the design vision.Ensure designs align with platform patterns and inclusion standards.Work closely with engineering partners to bring designs to life by crafting detailed deliverables, including technical specifications and assets.Update component libraries as designs evolve and communicate changes to relevant teams.Minimum QualificationsProficiency in design software including Sketch or Figma, Photoshop, and IllustratorProficiency in the use of typography, colors, materials, textures, layout, and information hierarchyExperience with platform-specific user interface principles for phone, computer, or smart watchesPreferred QualificationsPortfolio demonstrating design systems thinking to solve product problemsWorking understanding of inclusive design principles for meeting the needs of a diverse, global audiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
