We are seeking an experienced, motivated

Graphic Designer,

you will:

Ensure all creative materials follow agency and office brand standards, including Section 508 compliance

Develop high quality graphic products that may include illustrations, photographs, and logos. Such products will support program outreach initiatives such as social media campaigns and training activities

Develop layouts based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. This may require conferring with client, developing conceptual designs and layouts, creating sketches and drawings, creating typographic layouts and markup, assembling final print layouts, and creating photograph layouts for prints

Produce graphics for live and taped videos

Provide expertise in graphic design production to program managers

**Basic Qualifications:

**

Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or graphic design

5+ years of professional graphic design experience

Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust

Must be a U.S. citizen (required by federal government for the position)

Professional Skills:

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Studio products (e.g., Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; InDesign), PowerPoint, and Keynote

A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high quality

High attention to detail

Superior oral and written communication skills

The ability to receive constructive feedback and creative guidance

Experience working successfully in a team environment

Experience supporting a government or federal agency

**Preferred Skills and Experience:

**

Experience designing graphics for social media accounts, campaigns, and communications

Detailed knowledge of Section 508 requirements

Experience applying graphic design to instructional design products (e.g., training visual aids)

Experience incorporating graphic design into video production projects

Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines

Ability to adhere to branding and editorial style guides

A portfolio that showcases graphic design capabilities

Job Location:

Washington, DC metro area. Role will be required to meet with client on-site in DC, as requested.

Pay Range

- There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$79,643.00 - $163,825.00
