Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Our client for the Vice President of Sales and Marketing is a provider of contract manufacturing and supply chain/services solutions. This client services many of the world's largest and most recognized brands for a variety of products including but not limited to, food and beverage, cleaning products, coatings, lubricants, personal care, and many more. This organization is in high growth mode and continues to grow through organic and inorganic growth.The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for all sales and marketing related activities for the organization within the North America region. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will report to the CEO and be a part of the Executive Leadership team. The VP of Sales and Marketing will oversee all sales and marketing related activities, but have a focus on growth initiatives and expansion of the contract manufacturing services. This Sales Vice President will develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve strategic growth with the current customer base, while also identifying new strategic customer opportunities. The VP of Sales and Marketing will manage a total team of roughly 20 individuals in inside sales and customer service, Key Account Managers, and Sales Managers. This person will look to further develop and refine their go to market strategy, organizational structure, and also integrating sales teams from future acquisitions.This position is based in Cincinnati, OH. Hybrid or remote is possible, but the candidate must be willing and able to come to the office minimum every other week, preferably once a week to be with their team and with the Executive Leadership team.Job DescriptionLead sales, marketing, and business development personnel (directly and indirectly) to enhance the mission and develop a robust team.Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and organizational structure to best position the organization for sustainable growth.Establish and monitor sales and market objectives, targets, metrics and KPIs ensuring alignment with the company's strategic and financial goals.Understand and market the current value proposition of speed and responsiveness to the customers.Collaborate with operations to identify opportunities for improvement that are essential in building long term growth markets.Collaborate with other departments such as finance, operations, quality and others to ensure alignment to meet the sales and marketing objectives and goals.Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, external events, and media related activities.Drive day-to-day execution of the integration process, including coaching cross-functional teams, managing weekly integration team meetings and driving proactive issue resolution.Develop, mentor, train, hire, and provide overall leadership to sales and marketing staff and team members.Facilitate development of key tracking metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and synergy plan.Ensure collectively the group is following guidelines for GMP, quality, and food safety requirements.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.10 years of strategic sales and business development experience within the chemical, oleochemicals, additives, food and beverage, or related spaces.Oleochemicals and/or food ingredients preferred.Strong knowledge of toll and contract manufacturing services.Proven track record of developing and implementing a strategic business development and sales plan.Analytical and organizational skills.Excellent presentations and communication skills required.Strong negotiations and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse audience and group of stakeholders.High level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership and able to inspire and motivate others.Knowledge and experience working in federal and state regulated industries.Experience working in a global organization preferred.Ability to travel 50% domestically.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary $200,000 - $250,000, bonus 40%, profit sharing, company car allowance, vacation, full benefits, 401K, profit sharing, holidays.
