The Associate Media Director (AMD) serves as the primary client contact, overseeing daily communications and media planning/buying for accounts, particularly in the Multicultural Asian American market. The AMD leads a team of media professionals to deliver innovative marketing solutions across various media channels, ensuring alignment with client goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrated digital thinking and possess strong media management and analytical skills.Key Responsibilities:Lead research and audience building, guiding campaign planning and activation while mentoring the team.Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to set strategic direction.Leverage knowledge of digital, programmatic, and paid social media tactics to develop actionable strategies based on data insights.Guide the team in optimizing media strategies and insights.Oversee media managers and planners to ensure effective execution of media plans within budget.Foster collaboration across departments (strategy, creative, client leadership) to create innovative media plans.Develop strong agency-vendor relationships to achieve client goals.Introduce new media and technology ideas to enhance team creativity and connectivity.Manage team assignments to maximize productivity and skill utilization.Participate in recruitment, new business pitches, and account management for multiple verticals.Key Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 2 years of team leadership and 4 years of digital media planning/buying experience in an agency setting.Proven expertise in audience development, competitor analysis, and leveraging third-party data.Strong knowledge of digital media landscapes and buying platforms (display, social, programmatic).Excellent client relationship management skills.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.Ability to multitask, think critically, and communicate effectively.Desire for professional growth and adaptability to diverse processes.Preferred: Knowledge of traditional media, experience across multiple verticals, and bilingual proficiency in an Asian language (Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Vietnamese).CharacteristicsType of Contract Full timeSalary Between US$120,000.00 and US$140,000.00 per year
