The Role

As the Senior Marketing Project Manager, you will draw upon best practices and methodologies to contribute to the success of Lumen’s planning and oversight of projects through to completion. The role will report to the Sr. Manager – Digital Operations Project Management Team and focuses on the technical (not MarCom) elements of marketing project management. Primary duties will involve implementing new technology tools, migrating websites and integrating third party applications with current Lumen technology while working cross-functionally alongside a wide variety of teams and on a variety of project types. This role needs a problem solver who has a blend of project management and business acumen, technical understanding, business analysis, analytical capabilities, and communication skills.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

Develop project plans to document project scope, schedule, tasks, ownership and produce status reports to communicate to team and executives

Conduct meetings with stakeholders to determine objectives and execute on deliverables, challenges, scope and timing; work with cross-functional groups

Track KPIs/key metrics to measure project success based on business case

Build and maintain business relationships, working with all levels and organizations of Lumen to provide status of key projects

Gather input from various stakeholders to create and validate comprehensive requirements, rollout plans and test plans for initiatives

Ability to quickly understand technical aspects of product/service, both from a functionality perspective but also from an operations/set up perspective and be able to articulate it to a less technical audience

Identify business needs and make solution recommendations with strong problem solving and analytical skills, and provide consistent feedback on improvement opportunities related to current business process

Manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in time-sensitive environment

What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and 3+ years related experience.

Completion of formal externally recognized project certification requirements (e.g. PMI, PMP) or a minimum of 3 years of significant project management experience

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and Word

Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud a plus

Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Excellent analytical and presentation development/delivery skills

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$63,980 - $85,300 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$67,340 - $89,780 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$70,710 - $94,270 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$74,070 - $98,760 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
