Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.Time Type: Full timePosted: 3 Days AgoJob Requisition ID: R100080498The Communications Specialist is responsible for coordinating all applicant-related communications with the Marketing department and with the Office of Admission and ensuring the accuracy of those communications. This individual will help to create, manage, and implement a robust, yet flexible, communications and marketing plan. The Communication Specialist should have a keen eye for detail, be skilled at editing and proofreading content, exhibit a talent for critical thinking and have excellent written and oral communication skills. The person in this role must be self-motivated, interested in learning about and engaging with new ideas and concepts.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Assists in the development and implementation of an annual comprehensive communications and marketing plan that supports recruitment and enrollment goals in collaboration with the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management Marketing team.Oversees the communication dissemination process, including set up, configuration, testing, and delivery of official communications through the Slate CRM system, including accompanying forms and form responses.Maintains a comprehensive list of all communications (disseminated by Ops), including delivery method, timeline, link to drafts, accompanying forms, etc.Manages communications calendars and updates timelines. Keeps appropriate parties informed and identifies areas for attention to avoid delays, ensure effective results, and meet deadlines.Manages the communication review process, including decision and scholarship letters, collaborating with the EM leadership team in the development of new and revised materials.Prepares admission packet materials for mailing (in-house prints and files for external print and mail service).Assists with packaging and mailing Admissions materials.Assists with maintaining admission packet inventory for decision releases.Review and update student record data. Run data validation reports and troubleshoot and update data as needed to ensure accuracy as related to communications.Actively participates in the Slate community to identify best practices, trends, and new opportunities for workflow and system enhancements to streamline processes and increase effectiveness of the tool.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Exceptional written and communication skills and proven ability to multi-task with consistently high accuracy.Ability to concentrate and not be distracted while performing a task.Great attention to detail, excellent grasp of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.Ability to work effectively as a team player and independently, producing timely and high-quality results.Ability to communicate with all levels of employees across campus.Excellent time management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required.Experience working with Slate or another CRM a plus.Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, workflow, and office equipment.Ability to learn conditional logic, liquid markup, and query writing.Education and Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience; higher education preferred. Any appropriate combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered.Experience working in a Student Information System, database and/or CRM required.Job Status:
