The Bay Area's best-known search engine giant is seeking a UX Researcher to assist their team.
This role will be hybrid/onsite, three days a week. The team is in Mountain View and the office is public transportation accessible via company shuttle.Top Responsibilities for UX Researcher:
Support a technical program in its UX and human factors research effort.Plan research to support cross functional team research needs.Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.Collaborate with Industrial Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations.Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences.Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs and online experiments (A/B testing).Ideal Qualifications for UX Researcher:
BA/BS degree in Human Factors, HCI, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field.1-2 years of work experience in UX/HF/HCI, applied research setting, and/or product research and development.UX research, Qualitative research, statistical analysis, presentation skills.Experience with research design utilizing various methods.Relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, usability, or generative setting.IND123
