MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Director of AMS & Power Design to join our team. In this role, you will focus on the following:Leadership and Strategy:
Provide strong technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the AMS engineering team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish technology roadmaps, product strategies, and project plans aligned with MaxLinear’s overall business objectives.Identify emerging trends, technologies, and market demands to drive innovation in AMS product development.
Project Management:
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality.Define project milestones, allocate resources, and manage risks effectively.Track progress, report status, and provide regular updates to executive management and stakeholders.
Technical Excellence:
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in analog and mixed-signal semiconductor technologies and apply this knowledge to enhance product performance and competitiveness.Review and approve technical specifications, design documents, and test plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and MaxLinear's quality standards.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the engineering team.
Team Development:
Recruit, train, and retain top engineering talent, building a high-performing and motivated AMS engineering team.Conduct performance evaluations, set individual and team goals, and facilitate career development opportunities for team members.Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.
Customer and Partner Engagement:
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscapes to drive the development of customer-centric solutions.Engage with key customers and strategic partners to build strong relationships, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for collaboration and co-development.
