Job Description:
The Stores Learning & Development team is seeking a talented Learning Experience Designer as part of our Global Retail Training team to create interactive and engaging learning experiences for Stores employees.Overall, this role will be key in developing training that provides onboarding and professional development experiences for our learners.Some of this work will include developing and working with simulations, and using AI content generation tools.
Experience:
Design and develop creative, learner-centered, performance-based training materials utilizing interactive eLearning modules and videosCreate eLearning modules, assessments, measurement tools, and evaluations of training effectivenessDevelop scalable modules to ensure all training programs are consistent and ready for a global audienceAcute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environmentEffectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.3 + years relevant experience in an instructional design roleExtensive experience with authoring tools, such as Storyline/Rise 360, or similar, as well as JavaScript for xAPIMultimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere)Experience designing and developing interactive training materials in multiple modalitiesProven work experience designing and delivering training solutions to large organizations.

Articulate Studio 360Adobe IllustratorVideo EditingSolid project management skills including, planning work, managing details, and keeping multiple tasks/projects on trackIndustry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, performance improvement, project management, and content-specific certifications as appropriate (e.g. CPTD, CPT, PMP, etc.)Advanced Multimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere)Experience with emerging tech trends for content creation (e.g. gamification, VR, xAPI)Experience creating high quality and engaging voice-over for training materialsExperience developing training content for localization to multiple languages/culturesDemonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness and ROI to stakeholders and leadersExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilitiesAbility to earn trust of subject matter experts and stakeholdersExperience troubleshooting ambiguous technical issues and collaborating with software teams from discovery through resolution.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or similar field.Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Education Technology, or similar field (Preferred).
