Provides support to the district's teacher librarians and media secretaries in the management of the school library database.

Assigns new media specialists usernames and passwordsInstructs new media specialists on how to use the school library databaseAttends online vendor training on updates to school library database and then provides instruction to media specialists and media secretaries on the updatesEstablishes a cataloging standard for the school library database and instructs media specialists on the standardCoordinates with the Library Content Lead on interlibrary loan policies and proceduresAssists content lead and Executive Director of Digital Literacy and Information Technology on running reports from school library databaseWorks with IT department on the integration of patrons from student information system to school library databaseWorks with Curriculum and Instruction Department on maintaining curriculum resources within school library databaseWorks with Executive Director of Digital Literacy and Information Technology to evaluate yearly license for school library database and ensure the fee is paid on time
Term: 12 month, short-term contract
Compensation: $2,000 stipend
