Insight Global is Seeking a Content Strategist on the west coast to join an incredible team leading a major public health technology initiative. This individual will be responsible for driving content strategy as part of the user experience design team supporting a substantial mental health technology implementation project. This individual will work with created content to make user searches more relevant based on the categories they search for and how each result relates to a keyword. They will also provide recommendations on how to deliver a consistent, sustainable and standards-driven execution of content strategy across products, services, and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in taxonomy/content strategy, and will ideally come from a consulting and/or B2B2C background.Additional responsibilities include:Create and use controlled vocabularies, classification, data mapping, ontologies (relationship of terms), and taxonomies (hierarchy)Organize and maintain structured taxonomies of informationDevelop and implement strategies to improve data and information managementCreate classification schemes and metadata for different types of contentServe as a resource to content management teams in editorial process, metadata implementation of content meta tags, html page tags, and keywordsCollaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy of informationTrain and educate colleagues on taxonomy best practicesTravel to Sacramento once a month for client collocation events

Target Rate: $105,500 - $142,500

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience as a content strategist/taxonomistExperience in data management, information architecture, classification, or taxonomy developmentFamiliarity with metadata standards, taxonomies, and related technologiesStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperience with ConfluenceA bachelor's degree in library science, information architecture, or a related field

Previous experience in consulting and/or a SaaS product environment
