Our teams craft Salesforce's enterprise and consumer products, create new design patterns and guidelines, and partner with cross-disciplinary teams to bring human-centered experiences to life. These roles are an opportunity to solve meaningful problems at scale, design for inclusivity and accessibility, and make life better for our users and customers. You'll build our product and feature vision by leveraging your skills in visualization, influence, and empathy. You'll collaborate closely with product and technology partners as a key stakeholder in our release roadmap. You'll immerse yourself in the end-to-end experience of your work, creating a variety of design artifacts to communicate ideas and direction. Ultimately, you'll make products people love to use - tools that make a salesperson's day more productive, a marketer's campaign more powerful, and a developer's app more feature-rich. 4+ years of experience designing and delivering software products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team.Ability to deliver solutions on time independently and with on-site and distributed teamsDeep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices, and experience using analytics and research to drive decisions and develop product iterations.Ability to explore ideas, persuade, and build consensus on fast-moving projects with varying degrees of ambiguity and deadlines.Capability to deliver original, high-quality design work that is conceptually strong, meets business needs, and is at the right level of fidelity for each phase of a project.Strong communication and active listening skills, with an ability to build and develop close, trusting relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across product and engineering.Familiar with managing large design initiatives, including managing competing priorities. Demonstrated desire to continually improve on processes.Can design and think in design systems, not just single-purpose apps.Can consider how a design impacts ethics and equality, and have the conviction to speak up if veering off course.Expert knowledge of current design tools, such as Figma, along with an ability to learn new tools.BA/BS or MA/MS in a design-related field, or equivalent experience.Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and user research teams to create a vision for your product area.Serve as a bridge linking design, product, engineering, and marketing teams.Oversee multiple web and mobile application features, interfaces, and experiences.Communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key stakeholders using documentation, reviews, and presentations.Produce wireframes, storyboards, concepts, and other collateral to help communicate research results and make the case for new ideas.Create designs that adhere to and extend the existing style guide and design system.Generate detailed final design specs that inspire accurate developer builds.Work with developers and quality experts to deliver a polished final product.Promote and educate others on new interface guidelines and design patterns.Mentor new design staff.Develop software that is global in reach, universal in design, and designed for users of multiple languages and abilities.Advocate for accessibility through encouraging product and engineering management to prioritize accessible features and bug fixes.Support the vision for a product's creative identity, articulates it clearly and convincingly, and guide the team through its implementation.Please submit a resume with links to your portfolio. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $151,800 to $208,800. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $165,600 to $227,700. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
