The Consumer Growth Marketing organization is responsible for creating marketing strategies driven by consumer, industry, and performance insights. Spearheading acquisition and product marketing strategy, this organization leads cross-functional work for the Verizon Consumer Group. In collaboration, holistic strategies that consider the entire business are created to achieve shared goals and drive growth.

The Senior Director of Product Marketing for Protection and Financial will be responsible for leading the overall Strategic Marketing accountable for driving $4+ Billion in Mobile and Home Device Protection, Verizon Visa Card, and Financial Services revenue growth. The role will be focused on delivering the marketing strategies, plans and execution to enable this revenue growth. Marketing activities will impact across a range of consumer touchpoints and will cover value proposition and promotional integration, customer engagement, vendor management, demand generation, channel performance, and integration and customer feedback loop into the development process. This role will have accountability for carrying the strategic intent of each initiative through CX/UX design, consumer positioning, and tactical execution.

The Director will be a solution-oriented, dynamic leader who can think creatively to leverage a deep understanding of consumer dynamics, trends, and conversion tactics in the financial services and insurance industries and a pragmatic partnership approach to influence stakeholder groups to implement campaigns that position our exceptional product experiences for our customers and prospects. This leader will work collaboratively across the Growth & Revenue Organization's (GRO) extended cross-functional team, including segment, base, and integrated and execution marketing, value prop, design, Omni CX, technology systems, and product development; as well as 3rd party content partners, customer service, and more.

The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, have strong knowledge of product marketing and product performance management, project management skills, ability to cross-functionally lead teams, and a desire to be involved with highly visible programs from concept to execution.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of highly skilled marketers.

Responsible for helping us understand markets and anticipate customer needs in how people use our Financial Services, Protection and Security products, and drive innovation and marketing strategy that will maintain our leadership position in these multi-billion-dollar product lines.

Lead the marketing and execution efforts for our flagship Protection and financial services portfolios. Achieve acquisition, take rate and churn objectives in support of this critical Verizon revenue stream while ensuring regulatory compliance (Point of Sale, Digital, regulatory reporting).

Manage strategic partner marketing relationship with Asurion (Verizon Mobile Protect (VMP), Verizon Home Device Protect (VHDP) and Synchrony/Visa Verizon Credit Card (VCC) and internal/partner business and legal stakeholders.

Collaborate and partner closely with Verizon Stakeholders, Strategic External Partners, and Experience leaders to effectively deliver demand and revenue through an omni-channel approach.

Develop and present executive presentationsInterface at Executive levels and be a fearless advocate for the Financial Services Portfolio performance and it's high visibility, critical revenue stream to Verizon

Ensure compliance with legal & regulatory requirements including state level compliance reporting, internal audits, and ad hoc requests requiring strong product line understanding and analytic.

What we're looking for.....

10 years of relevant work experience.

Master's Degree in Relevant Area or equivalent work experience.

Demonstrated leadership in managing large scale Marketing and Go-To-Market Programs with preferred experience in a regulated financial services Consumer/Business environment

Proven record of implementation of innovative efforts to improve experience from concept to execution.

Where you'll be workingIn this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
