Here’s the Scoop - Summary

The Director, Trade Marketing will lead Strategic Planning, Trade Optimization, Sales Forecasting, and Sales Operations. The team will help develop user friendly tools and in-depth analyses to help inform strategic business decisions both internally as well as externally with our customers. The Director, Trade Marketing will interface regularly with senior leadership and strategic customers to help implement growth plans.

Reporting to the CCO, the Director, Trade Marketing is a remote role based in the Nashville, TN or Phoenix, AZ regions.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Create and implement sales strategies and plans in order to grow sales in key markets within all product categories.

Collaborate across the business to develop go to market strategies and plans based on sound customer and market understanding.

Integrate data from multiple sources to drive foresight and strategy.

Lead customer level business planning, including pro forma modelling.

Lead top-down planning exercises.

Prepare monthly reports and/or manages special projects, as directed or assigned.

Develop and maintain successful professional working relationships with relevant corporate departments.

Develop, create and explain business analytics to deliver critical and relevant insights and plans to construct growth agendas.

Internal analysis including product pack architecture, pricing strategy, and forecasting

Keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors to enable strategic adjustments.

Oversee Sales Communication Prep.

Lead Industry Event Prep.

Perform other tasks as required or assigned.

What are we looking for?

Post-secondary education in Business or related field (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)

Minimum eight years strategic planning, insights and/or analytics experience, preferably within a consumer packaged goods environment.

Data/Insights mining expert with syndicated tools

Proficient in trade modelling

Experienced in creating and building tools and analysis processes.

Customer service orientation with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse stakeholder groups both internal and external.

Strong analytical skills and proven experience translating data into actionable insights.

Strong project management skills and the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute according to timelines.

Ability to lead presentations/meetings.

Some travel between U.S./Canada

Some extended hours of work may be required.
