LA-based Architecture + Interiors Studio is a passionate team of 40 creatives (and growing) with offices in Los Angeles and San Diego.

They are currently searching for a passionate Interior Designer with 8+ years of project experience in healthcare interior design. The ideal candidate will work closely on various healthcare interior design projects, partnering with a multi-disciplinary team to refine designs, prepare presentations, select materials and FF&E, create construction documents, and coordinate with consultants and contractors. The team values innovation and seek team members who approach challenges with a learning mindset and offer creative solutions. You will be a key influencer in driving their design initiatives forward!
The Senior Interior Designer will work closely with clients, Design Leaders, and project teams to deliver innovative and creative design solutions for healthcare environments.
Key responsibilities include:Expertise in Design and Technical Knowledge:
Possess a deep understanding of interior design, architectural materials, finishes, and specifications. Be well-versed in building and fire codes, design standards, and construction techniques. Enhance design concepts with technical strategies and use appropriate tools for research, design, and documentation throughout all project phases.Comprehensive Design Management:
Oversee the interior design of projects from concept to completion. This includes developing design concepts, creating presentations, preparing design and construction documentation, and specifying materials and finishes.Planning:
Lead the planning process, including design elements, ceiling designs, material and finish selections, space planning, and specialty lighting fixtures.Design Preparation:
Prepare and develop design drawings, models, images, and materials. Conduct research on materials and products, and produce samples and visioning materials.Project Management:
Coordinate with the design team to define project requirements and schedules. Manage work progress and collaborate closely with design and project teams.Client Communication:
Clearly articulate design ideas to the team and explain their rationale. Present concepts to clients, provide expert advice, and ensure the successful execution of projects.Preferred candidates will have:
8+ years of professional experience in interior design, with 5+ years in healthcare designBachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or professional equivalentKnowledge of building codes and HCAIExperience leading design teamsCreative and innovative in design solutionsKnowledge of building codes and regulationsAttention to detail and precision in design executionExperience in CAD, Revit, Sketchup and the Adobe Creative Suite is required.Benefits Highlights:
