As a Senior Manager, Executive Communications you will be responsible for crafting and implementing critical communication plans for executives within our organization. You will work closely with C-suite leaders and other key partners to develop messaging, speeches, presentations, and other materials that align with the company's goals, values, and brand identity. Your role will involve a combination of critical thinking, writing expertise, and relationship management to ensure effective communication both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

Intentional Communication Planning: Develop comprehensive communication strategies that support the objectives of executive leadership and the overall organization.

Message Development: Craft clear, compelling, and consistent messages for senior leadership to deliver across various platforms and channels.

Speech writing: Create speeches, talking points, and presentations for executives, ensuring they are tailored to specific audiences and occasions.

Content Creation: Produce written content such as articles, op-eds, blog posts, and social media posts for executives to enhance their thought leadership and visibility.

Media Relations: Collaborate with the media relations team to coordinate interviews, prepare executives for media appearances, and craft key messages for press releases and statements.

Executive Branding: Develop and maintain the personal brands of executives, ensuring alignment with the organization's brand and values.

Internal Communication: Support internal communication efforts by drafting memos, newsletters, and other materials to keep employees informed and engaged.

Stakeholder Management: Build and cultivate relationships with key partners, including executives, colleagues, media contacts, and external partners.

Crisis Communication: Assist in developing and implementing crisis communication plans, providing guidance and support to executives during challenging situations.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven Experience (10+ years) in corporate communications, executive communications, or a similar role.

Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the capability to tailor messages for different audiences.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop creative solutions to complex communication challenges.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with media relations practices and experience working with journalists and media outlets.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other communication tools/software.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity, especially when dealing with sensitive or confidential information.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
