POSITION SUMMARY Our Brand Experience Team is passionate about creating incredible consumer and retail experiences for the best brands in the world. We’re on the hunt for a top-tier Associate Creative Director to contribute to this mission on our east coast creative team. This Associate Creative Director will assist the Creative Director with developing and directing creative vision and execution of client assignments. This position is responsible for defining the creative brief, strategy, and blue sky solutions to all creative projects for one of our global retailer clients. This Associate Creative Director will champion our client's brand while leading and inspiring teams to deliver innovative solutions that ultimately shape our marketing efforts at various touchpoints throughout the digital and retail experience. This position supports the Creative Director in leading presentations with clients and is accountable for ensuring the creative deliverables are aligned with the brief and meet or exceed client expectations.
HAS EXPERIENCE WITH
Ongoing passion for the retail design industry and best practices.
In-depth understanding of experiential and retail design strategy.
Developing and implementing brand design documents and guidelines in both 2D and 3D space.
Leading retail design projects from concept through successful build, in store.
Familiarity with sketching, 3D visualization, and creating mockups on the fly with clients.
Engages with teams to manage the delivery of final details and files to ensure a smooth hand-off and a profitable program.
Growing teams and mentoring junior creatives.

Partnering with retail brands to create engaging consumer experiences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes themselves as a trusted partner to clients and colleagues so that they are sought out for advice and counsel.
Produces compelling creative work that exceeds client needs, utilizing current market trends, competitor intelligence, and innovative thinking.
Works in a hands-on capacity internally and with clients to develop the strategy, experiential concepts, and overarching design direction for the experience.
Lead new campaign pitches – i.e. responsible for connecting ideas, leading creative execution and dynamically presenting work.
Leads project review sessions for assigned clients; utilizes information from review sessions to recommend best practices for copy excellence.
Supports profitability efforts by encouraging and actively enabling innovation, creativity, and cost efficiency through all Creative Design client activities.
Ensures client retention is maximized by delivering custom-tailored solutions to meet clients’ objectives and expectations.
Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Design, Marketing or related field preferred.
8+ years of previous Art, Design, and Marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
High degree of proficiency in 3D visualization tools, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with and positively influence peers and management.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
