is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented
User Interface/ User Experience (UI/UX) Specialist
to join our team in the
DMV area.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define user interface requirements and design innovative user experiences.Implement strategic vision for user interface designs, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.Maintain design guidelines, templates, and style guides.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.High School and 4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of required degree.Minimum of 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.Experience in UI/UX design, product design and/or enterprise application fields or relevant customer-facing job roles.Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.Proven experience in user research, usability testing, and design thinking.Strong visual design skills with a focus on clean, modern design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.Relevant industry certifications desirable.Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active/current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
