WhatsApp is looking for an experienced and accomplished Brand Marketing Manager to drive the Consumer Brand across key markets. The Brand Marketing Manager will play a significant role in shaping the future of the WhatsApp marketing campaigns and developing best in class efforts that drive consumer awareness, consideration, and engagement aligned to the business, product, and brand goals. The ideal candidate will have strategic consumer marketing experience, developing cross-functional partnerships and running multi-channel campaigns and programs for a high-profile brand, within the CPG or consumer tech industries. Responsibilities
Shape the strategic and execution vision for Marketing and Brand communications across key markets. Support the development and execution of brand strategies through global campaigns that drive results at each stage of the marketing funnel. Partner closely with teams to identify opportunities and deliver integrated marketing campaigns: Product Marketing, Consumer Insights, Decision Science, Communications, Planning and Media investment, Media and Creative Agencies, Growth Marketing and Product Management. Support and lead reporting of marketing initiatives to determine the most efficient awareness and usage drivers, and optimize across channels. Willingness and experience to “roll up your sleeves” and flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities when needed. Serve as an influential member of the WhatsApp leadership team on the future and success of WhatsApp. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in global consumer brands or entities in brand marketing for internet and/or consumer technology, or consumer packaged goods. Understanding of consumers, with demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to develop marketing strategies and plans. Experience supporting large multi-million dollar campaigns with a proven understanding of communications and media planning. Demonstrated experience in developing, building, scaling and influencing cross-functional teams and all levels of management. Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring seamless launches with the highest impact. Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of WhatsApp as a brand and product. Experience with both early stage products and established products/brands. Global experience working across a number of markets. BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field.
