Our Content Team:

The Content team partners with Marketing & Communications colleagues to support the development of marketing materials for Baird's external audiences including clients, prospects, recruits and followers/friends of the firm's social media channels. They also contribute meaningfully to these efforts through both independent and directed research, topical brainstorming, copywriting, editing and quality assurance. They work closely with other M&C teams (Marketing, Design, Digital Communications and Social Media) at all stages of content development - from ideation to execution.

Internship Location, Availability and Hours:Located in our downtown Milwaukee office, the intern must be able to work part-time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week, and full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week. We are seeking a student who can start in May 2025.

As a Content Intern, you will:

Write and edit marketing materials for Baird's external audiences (editorial content, thought leadership, advertising, and more)Support content creation and curation for Baird's websites and social media channelsGain knowledge of digital content strategy and the financial services industryPerform regular reviews of brand messaging and value propositions for key competitors of our core businessesProvide analysis and synthesis of research/review findings to project partners in support of editorial and branding initiativesWhat we look for:

Pursuing a degree in English (writing-specific discipline preferred), Journalism, Communications or related degree. Targeting May 2026 or later graduation datesExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong command of the English language and the ability to edit, proofread and fact-check own work. Demonstrated ability to create content for different audiences a plusExceptional organizational/time management skills and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and meet all deadlinesStrong analytical capabilities. Must be able to effectively research and synthesize complex conceptsStrong critical thinking skills and work ethic and ability to function equally well in team settings and on a self-directed basisWorking knowledge of all MS Office applicationsWriting samples may be requested during the interview processWhat makes this opportunity great:
