ABOUT THE ROLE
As Manager of Marketing Communications, you'll be a key marketing leader responsible for developing, managing, and executing exceptional and effective marketing campaigns and internal/external communication initiatives. You'll lead junior marketing communications team members, work closely with internal marketing partners, and manage external vendor relationships to deliver insightful and compelling content that successfully promotes PatientIQ's products, services, and brand. You will be responsible for cultivating brand alignment across key internal and external audiences. You'll work cross-functionally to support internal stakeholders and be responsible for ensuring marketing communications achieve identified business goals, such as lead generation and client retention. You will report to the Vice President of Marketing.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESDirect the development and tactical implementation of strategic marketing and communications plans, including content campaigns, events, digital marketing, and public relationsOversee the creation and execution of all content, including eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, email campaigns, videos, award and event submissions, press releases, bylines, blog posts, and social media postsServe as editor-in-chief to ensure accuracy of publications and support brand alignmentAlign communications and campaigns with defined user/buyer personas and value propositionsGuide the day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring objectives are implementedOversee junior marketing communications team members and manage external vendor relationshipsConduct consistent analysis of internal and external marketing communications opportunities and needsWork closely with the company's internal stakeholders enabling them to exceed objectives by providing appropriate tools, materials, and presentationsSynthesize feedback from internal stakeholders into actionable work to be executed on by the marketing teamRequirements
Relevant advanced degree required, with 7+ years of related professional experience in marketing, communications, journalism, public affairs, or a related fieldExperience within the healthcare field required, healthcare SaaS marketing experience preferredWell-versed in branding and marketing/communication strategies and tactics (traditional and digital)Excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to think strategically, synthesize feedback, and translate strategy into effective tacticsAbility to determine a marketing campaign's scope, milestones, objectives, and dependenciesExperience managing external teams/vendorsExperience leading/mentoring internal team membersExperience making data-driven marketing decisions and owning the outcomes of those decisionsStrong organizational and forward-looking planning skillsBenefits
