Overview:
Signalink is looking to hire a Technical Illustrator who will work with a diverse team comprised of engineering, logistics and aircraft professionals to create/update graphics for technical publications and installation instructions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Update existing technical illustrations to incorporate changes both from the customer and teamConvert raster-based graphics to vector-based graphics for use in technical publicationsCreate new illustrations for use in technical publications produced by the logistics teamVerify accuracy of technical illustrations to ensure completeness meeting government standardsRequirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma5-8 years of related experience in a similar settingExperience with Adobe IllustratorAbility to travel 10% of the timeAbility to obtain and maintain Secret security clearancePreferred Experience and Knowledge:
Familiarity with Army (or DoD) Technical ManualsAbility to interpret technical drawings/specificationsCan conceptualize a 3D view into a static 2D imageAbility to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment
