Position Purpose

The Content Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and curating content across various channels. This position involves collaborating with different regions to gather and organize newsletters in alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, the Content Coordinator will enhance the team's capabilities in writing and editing for non-Currents content channels.

Compensation:

$53,000 - $57,000 depending on experience. Full-time, exempt level employee are eligible for various benefits including vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, flexible spending plans, employee assistance plan, legal resources plans, tuition reimbursement, and participation in CASE's retirement plan. CASE is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.

Essential Functions

The core functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Write, review, and edit newsletter articles and content for CASE's newsletters.Coordinate with global offices to create content for global newsletters.Manage global newsletter calendar.Repurpose/repackage longer form content (Currents, webinars, etc.) for other channels: CASE website, social media channels, newsletters.Write social media copy and/or online communities posts.Create, edit, or review other content as assigned, including: web copy, announcements or press releases, organizational or internal communications in coordination with Strategic Communications Manager.Fiscal Management/Budget Responsibilities/Judicious Use of Resources

Exercises fiscal responsibility in the utilization of all CASE resources.Liaison Responsibilities

Works cooperatively and diplomatically with all divisions and regions.Liaises with CASE colleagues in other parts of the world to ensure the best sharing of ideas, expertise and knowledge.Incorporates tasks and/or projects related to objectives as directed by the CASE Strategic Plan.Image Responsibilities

In keeping with the CASE Values Statement, ensures that CASE is well represented by exercising a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and ethics, in all activities, services, and products.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate for the Content Coordinator position should have 1-3 years of relevant experience in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.

Skills and Abilities:

A demonstrated interest in advancing education in the not-for-profit sector.A strong commitment to contributing to an organizational culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion.An understanding and interest in engaging with a broad range of cultures and countries.Strong writing and editing skills for various marketing channels.Experience with social media management and content creation.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and regions.Basic understanding of SEO and best practices for digital content.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Alternative Work Arrangement:

After 4 weeks of employment, eligible staff are given the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days per week and in-office 3 days per week.
