This position is responsible for the strategic direction and management of multi-device user experiences for CPI Security. As the thought leader on web and mobile digital experiences, he/she will drive experiential alignment with Brand marketing, Digital Marketing, CRM, Product, and Ecommerce. You will act as a champion for usability and user-centric design in our organization by defining the UX research, design and development process. This position leads and owns the end-to-end user experience ensuring frictionless user interactions that drive true business value. We will look to you to play a leading role in our mission to protect our customers and what matters most to them.Essential FunctionsOversees and is accountable for the UX and optimization strategy and execution focused on designing and measuring leading user experience by balancing user intent, business needs, and site/mobile performanceLeads and coaches a team of interactive designers, information architects, visual designers, usability testers and user experience developers to design, develop and continuously optimize a best-in-class user experience for both web and mobile channels.Defines and establishes UX metrics and reportingSets the strategic direction for regular usability/UX researchAdvocates for and educates the business on how to leverage user experience design and development specialists and business analysts to drive the product roadmap forward through mentoring, training and external best practice learningOwns the creative design, user experience and business analysis operating budgets and oversees the effective distribution and usage of dollars (utilizing digital performance analytics and user research)Oversight of UX Design and DevelopmentResearches, formulates, and shares best practices and standards for UX research and development of user experiencesDrives the UX and optimization strategy focused on designing and measuring leading user experience by balancing user intent, business needs, and site performanceAdvocates for new technologies, techniques, and keeps on top of the latest design tools to be able to apply these as neededPartners with the Product Management team to define user experience vision, product feature pipeline, business goals, requirements, and functional needsLeverages interactive design, information architecture, and visual design to develop and continuously optimize a best-in-class user experience for both web and mobile channelOversees the execution and measurement of optimization and growth strategy through user design across all touch points and channels, bringing the customer to the design table through user centered design and data driven decision practices.Drives innovative solutions and UX designs within platform constraints and technical limitations to enable easy user interactionLeads front-end development and integration of digital platforms, defining functionality, navigation, and interaction modelsTakes ownership of UX design issues and blockers ensuring they are resolved as requiredCompletes development work and requirements work in support of optimization testing (A/B and innovation) collaborating with the analytics teamOther Experience RequiredBachelor’s degree or higher in related field is preferred, educational background commensurate with years of applicable experience will be consideredProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud & Figma3-5 years of experience with website design, mobile design, user experience flows, user experience design, user experience development and requirements managementExtensive experience with user interface design patterns and standard user-centered design methodologies across multiple platformsFunctional knowledge of digital commerce business processesThe PerksAggressive pay and the opportunity to work for an iconic brandGreat medical, dental, vision, short- & long-termdisabilityand life insurance optionsCompany paid holidays, floating holiday, and paid time off (PTO)401(k) plan with competitive company matchEligible for free monitored security system after 90 daysEducation assistance – we encourageandsupport our employees who want to improve their skills and further their educationEngaging and fun company culture that’s made up of a diverse group of peopleVolunteer and community engagement opportunities.
