Job Description
Virginia Tire & Auto is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing Team. This role will be a great learning opportunity for anyone looking to get experience in all aspects of Marketing, from branding and brand campaigns, to digital, social, and traditional media as well as local and event marketing. We have a passion for our customers and our store teams and are focused on customer experience and loyalty. This role would be exposed to customer journey marketing and internal marketing to our associates. This role is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
Responsibilities
Overall duties include, but are not limited to:Work directly with the Marketing Director on all projects, supporting the Brand & Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing & Content Specialist as neededBrand/Promotional Marketing:
Meet with key decision makers to plan out monthly promotionsAssist with researching and writing content for emails and in-store materials for promotionsAssist with ensuring materials arrive to stores on time, package tracking, etc.Pull reporting and update corresponding recap documents
Social Media:
Learn SEMrush and FB Creator StudioWork with the Marketing team on curating the social media calendar each monthCreate the concepts and ideas for social content and produce content for Facebook and Instagram which includes but not limited to visiting the stores for video contentPartner with the Marketing & Content Specialist on creating and posting social media content
Internal Communications:
Support internal communications with collecting content and developing our monthly newsletterCreating weekly digital communications with key company messages, customized per location as neededOpportunity to evolved internal communications with more interactive ideas (videos, polls, Q&A)
Local & Event Marketing:
Review all opportunities for local marketing and event participationBring opportunities to Marketing Director for reviewExecute needs for each opportunity as directed
Website:
Learn WordPress platformAssist with website content updates as neededWork with agency partner on design changes and website partner on template changes
Basic Qualifications
0-3 years of experience in marketing environmentBA or BS degreeExperience in WordPress, SEMrush, FB Creator Studio a plus!Ability to manage multiple projects at onceDetail-oriented and organizedPassion for customer communicationsMust have drive, determination and the ability to excel in problem solving situationsSelf-motivatedWhy Join Virginia Tire & Auto?
