Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior MicroStation Designer to assist on a variety of public and private sector infrastructure projects in our Buffalo and Rochester offices!Colliers Engineering & Design offers aspiring engineers and designers the opportunity to work on a very diverse range of bridge and structural projects, often complex in nature for a wide spectrum of clients. The work setting is highly collaborative with structured mentoring from a team of seasoned engineers. Come make an impact on our Bridge Team today!
Responsibilities
Produce CAD drawings for new or reconstructed bridges and structuresPrepare quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model filesPrepare reinforcing bar detailing for reinforced concrete structuresApply and integrate various client CAD standards into CAD templatesMay develop 3D CAD models for substructures, grading and alignments/profilesAssist the engineering and project management team with the development of CAD design methodology and practicesPerform drawing QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a related discipline5-15 years of CADD bridge/structure design experienceProficient in Microstation, AutoCAD or Civil 3DWilling to work independently and with others as a team memberInterested in work in a team setting with strong collaboration skillsProficient in written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.Compensation: $34.00-$47.00/HR DOQ
