The Director, Marketing Strategy and Analytics is a critical business partner for the Marketing team, focusing on strategy, planning, data and analytics. This role utilizes comprehensive data sets to develop and track progress toward key business performance indicators, identify changes in marketing funnel performance, and drive strategic analyses to optimize performance. You’ll use your quantitative background and work with other data scientists to solve many exciting challenges including customer acquisition, customer activation and retention as well as media mix modeling, marketing attribution and experimentation. The impact you'll make:

Work with the data engineering team to create quantitative analysis and provide insights that help the marketing team understand marketing performance, customer quality & user behaviors.

Collaborate with the marketing functional leaders to recommend strategies for achieving company goals, determine key metrics, and create executive dashboards to monitor progress.

Ensure that marketing teams and leadership have the right level of data, transparency and insight they require to achieve objectives.

Analyze and surface trends in our marketing funnel to all levels to understand what’s working, what’s not and where to pivot.

Partner cross-functionally with Product Analytics, Sales Analytics, Customer Success Analytics, and FP&A professionals to develop data and insights strategies.

Manage a team of individual contributors by providing day to day guidance, support and mentorship as needed.

Partner with the rest of the Marketing Ops team in defining marketing processes, workflows, systems and data evolution to enhance efficiency, scalability and maximize ROI.

Proactively identify issues with our systems/processes and take ownership to fix them.

Present monthly and quarterly marketing performance reviews and ensure that teams have the data and insights needed to measure success and identify opportunities.

Will manage, evaluate, and mentor cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.

What you've accomplished:

7-10 years of experience with marketing data analytics within CPG and ecommerce/marketplace sectors, managing multi-channel, multi-million dollar brands to achieve high-volume results in lean organizations.

Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decision making.

Experience working with B2B and B2C products as well as with small and large clients.

Experience with research methodologies such as brand health studies, customer tracker studies, segmentation studies, maxdiff studies, focus groups, ethnographies, copy testing, survey design, and conjoint analysis.

Strategic in nature, insights oriented, problem-solving driven.

Ability to combine a disciplined approach with flexibility.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to work with and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.

Supervisory/management experience with ability to lead and mentor others in a highly collaborative environment.

The base pay range for this position is: $152,000.00 - $173,000.00 per year
