Are you a dynamic communicator with a passion for fostering community? Join the Church of St. Alphonsus as our new Director of Communications!
Role Overview:As the Director of Communications, you'll craft and execute a strategic communication plan to engage and inform our parish community. You’ll manage our weekly bulletin, website, social media, and various communication channels to ensure our message resonates effectively. This role also involves coordinating with ministry groups, enhancing parish outreach, and supporting our mission-driven activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy.
Oversee content creation for the bulletin, website, and social media.
Manage parish event signups and coordination.
Lead marketing efforts to attract and engage community members.
Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure cohesive communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
3+ years of experience in communications or graphic design.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Strong skills in graphic design, marketing, and communication.
