Our suite of products including ContentsTrack, Restoration Manager, Pruvan, PPW, and XactRemodel enables contractors to streamline workflows, enhance cost estimation accuracy, and improve project efficiency.As a Senior UX Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping intuitive and impactful user experiences that empower contractor professionals to succeed.About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the RoleCollaborate with customers, product teams, management, R&D, and engineering to identify, scope, and execute end-to-end design solutions.Lead high-impact design initiatives, contributing to the strategic direction of the product.Champion modern UX practices, ensuring design and engineering best practices lead to high-performing, delightful user experiences.Uncover opportunities to create memorable experiences across Property Estimating Solutions and Restore Products that differentiate us in the market.Develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges, presenting your vision and creating excitement among senior leadership.Continuously identify opportunities for UX improvements across Verisk Restore Products.Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.Complete all responsibilities as outlined and projects and other duties as assigned.Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.QualificationsAbout You and How You Can Excel in this Role6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing applications, websites, and mobile experiencesBachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experienceExpertise in ideation, sketching, wireframing, user flows, and information architectureExperience planning and conducting customer research, either independently or in partnership with UX ResearchersMastery of interactive design tools such as Figma, Maze, Lucid, and familiarity with Design Thinking and Jobs-to-be-done (JTBD) methodologiesMastery of information architecture, information design, interaction design, and multi-step, cross-platform flowsClear understanding of web, mobile, and desktop application development technologies, including their limitationsExperience designing reusable UX components or systemsAbility to influence cross-functional teams and lead projects from concept to delivery as well as ongoing improvementProven track record of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environmentAbility to use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisionsStrong empathy for users, with a knack for simplifying complex problemsSelf-starter with strong leadership and mentorship skills, inspiring your team by exampleVerisk Analytics is an equal opportunity employer.
