This position supports important and critical initiatives for the firm, its practices and industries, and individual lawyers. It requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, innovative thinking, and some creativity. This position takes ownership and serves in a proactive role supporting firm-wide marketing and communications, and data steward initiatives while collaborating with our in-house marketing team and outside vendors.Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Practice Development Managers to assist in the fulfillment of all firm marketing-related branding, communications, and social media activities, including creating, designing, and distributing e-marketing communications (alerts, announcements, invitations, etc.)Assist with firm marketing events and seminars and internal firm events/programs, both on- and off-site with duties including project task lists and timelines, creation and distribution of invitations, RSVP supervision, preparation of handouts, production of name tags, venue management and logistics, registration setup, and managing post-event communications.Support the conceptualization, design, and creation of visual elements for print and digital assets, including brochures and other collateral, PowerPoint presentations, website and social media content, infographics, photography, and video, and oversee all digital and print production, including relationships with external vendors.Responsible for managing the content on the intranet and updating it regularly along with creating, designing, and assisting with department pages and other pages.Responsible for posting content on the firm website including attorney bios, speaking engagements, matters, publications, events, alerts, etc.Manage and distribute content to firm social media consultants as appropriate.Review, edit, and track various department-related documents (RFPs, pitches, etc.), setup and maintain filing, etc. for the Practice Development Department.Assist in the completion of submissions to directories, rankings, etc.Database management to include email for external firm inquiries, contact lists, etc. in our CRM system, and report generation as needed.Manage firm promotional items.Produce and analyze website and social media analytics reports.Conduct client, prospect, industry, and market research to support targeted business development efforts.Assist with sponsorship request and fulfillment process.Negotiate firm corporate rates with vendors.Maintain and track budget items: process invoices, create and submit check requests, and reconcile.Perform and assist with additional department-related duties and projects as required.Position Requirements:

Requires strong MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint skills.Must possess excellent writing and communication skills, capability to multitask, organize, and prioritize workload.Experience with Canva required.Law firm, Adobe Creative Suite, and SharePoint experience preferred.Client service attitude with demonstrated ability to take initiative.Some overtime required for special events and functions.Miller & Martin PLLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
