We are looking for a Lead Product Designer with experience creating design systems, modernizing webapps and creating delightful B2B & B2C user experiences.MarchingOrder is a profitable and growing edtech startup that serves as the behind-the-scenes software powering graduation ceremonies across most universities and colleges in the US. This role requires someone who can work cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales & Marketing to improve the user experience for the over 1 million students through our platform every year.Key Responsibilities:Lead the redesign of front-end web applications to enhance student and administrator interaction and satisfaction.Develop and implement comprehensive design systems that streamline engineering processes and reinforce brand consistency.Collaborate closely with software engineers within the Microsoft C# stack to integrate user interface design seamlessly with backend functionalities.Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts.Apply Material Design principles to ensure that all designs are visually compelling and coherent.Ensure all designs meet the latest accessibility standards to provide an inclusive user experience.Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and refine designs accordingly.What We Are Looking For:8-10 years of experience leading teams in product design in B2B sector.Proficiency in Figma with proven track record of redesigning front-end web applications and establishing design systems.In-depth knowledge of Material Design (or other frameworks) and its application in modern web and mobile interfaces.Strong understanding of accessibility standards and how to implement them in user interface design.Experience working with software engineers, particularly within the Microsoft C# stack.Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
