EF Academy Admissions & Communications Director – New York Campus
Position Overview:
The Admissions & Communications Director at EF Academy in New York plays a pivotal role at the intersection of Admissions, Enrollment, Campus Operations, and Marketing. This leadership position serves as a central hub to ensure each of these functions work well together with the larger EF Academy ecosystem to achieve enrollment and admissions objectives while also aiding the student experience from their first interaction on campus to graduation.
Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of proven leadership experience preferably in an educational setting.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, agile environment.
Creative problem solver with a track record of innovative thinking and execution.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to build consensus and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in using data analysis tools and the ability to translate information into actionable insights.
A proactive self-starter who demonstrates initiative and can work independently.
Demonstrated ability to empower and develop staff and peers towards achieving common goals.
Strong presence with a reputation for positivity, integrity, professionalism, and approachability.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance local and global initiatives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the Team:
Oversight and active involvement of team members' objectives and their unique priorities including campus tours and interviews, parent and student consultations, coordination with other campus stakeholders, content creation for social media, internal and external communications, and managing the Ambassador program on campus.
Ensure successful communication, collaboration, and coordination where individuals are empowered to work efficiently towards mutual goals.
Liase with the local Head of Enrollment on strategic objectives and growth goals.
Campus Leadership:
Serve as a key member of the campus senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
Organize and manage Welcome Days and graduations for students and families.
Lead student retention initiatives in collaboration with the Head of School.
Manage the alumni relations program for New York.
Communication Hub:
Serve as the liaison between other EF Academy stakeholders and the campus.
Coordinate the New York campus’ calendar and scheduling committee/organization.
Develop and execute an Annual Communications Plan to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Reporting and Growth:
This position reports directly to the Head of School and offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development.
Salary:
USD $100,000 to $110,000 depending on experience.
