Consult the local regional offices on business plan strategies to support proposal development, event coordination, public relations, and digital communications. Partner with corporate marketing to create and update promotional collateral and execute marketing plans. Strategize, plan, and participate in local and regional trade shows/conferences and lead project interview preparation. Develop expertise with, and help drive usage of, our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.A servant leader with a strong eye for detail, focusing on team building, strategy, and accountability to support our vision of being Best at People, leading in innovation, and being at the top in our industry would make for a successful candidate.Essential Role and Responsibilities:
Lead marketing and communications strategy, capture planning, and proposal development.Collaborate with project managers and/or pursuit champions to plan, coordinate, design, edit, and produce strategic, high-quality RFP/RFQ submittals.Lead competitor and client research efforts.Manage and actively participate in the event planning and organization of trade shows/conferences/community involvement/client appreciation gift campaigns.Maintain, utilize, and champion CRM efforts.Provide support for miscellaneous marketing requests and firm initiatives.Ability to lead, manage, and develop future marketing staff.Preferred Qualifications:
Located in Salt Lake City. This position requires in-person, in-office work and potential travel.A/E/C industry experience/knowledge is highly desired.Experience leading a team with direct reports is desired.Federal as well as Transportation and Infrastructure sectors marketing experience.CPSM certification desired, not required.Knowledge of how to complete an SF330.Strong experience with Microsoft Office (required) and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Experience with a CRM system is desired.Social Media/Public Relations experience.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related degree and 6+ years of marketing and communications experience. Alternatively, instead of a degree, 10 years of related experience.Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.About Terracon
