Job Description

The successful candidate would be a UX designer experienced in information architecture and running workshops to gather requirements AND proficient in UI design to participate in development of a growing design system. The successful candidate will have a real and meaningful impact on the development of products, to be used by our Financial Services clients.Key Skills

8+ yrs experience in designing complicated enterprise-level workflowsExperienced in conducting user interviews and user testing (in-person and remote)Passionate about both UX and UI design - able to rationalize and debate the use of different UX techniques and debate interaction design patternsParticipate or run workshops/walkthrough sessions using design sprint and design thinking methodologiesGathering in-depth insights into the user's needs, motivations and organizing content to reflect this across multiple platformsExecuting the User Centered Design (UCD) process from start to finish including user personas, user journeys, sketches, wireframes and interactive prototypesBe able to work through complex problems and propose an appropriate solutionBe proactive in solving problems effectively, using multiple sources of factual informationEnsuring all outputs adhere to relevant policies and standardsConstantly push for a user-centered approach while delivering to business requirementsAble to design to WCAG 2.1 standardsIn-depth knowledge of web, desktop and mobile interface best practicesExperience with guiding the evolution of an existing design systemAble to lead and mentor other members of the teamBe highly proficient in the following design software:Figma
