In this role, you will develop and execute the go-to-market storytelling around the problems we solve and ensure it aligns with the PagerDuty Operations Cloud messaging. This involves understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable and compelling narratives across target audiences (executive and practitioner personas), and successfully deploying artifacts/materials across our Go-To-Market organization for their use with customers. You will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Customer Success for cross-functional alignment on solutions and overall business goals, while ensuring messaging across departments is consistent and effectively communicates the problem solved, benefits offered, and competitive differentiation.
Key Responsibilities:Leading a high-performing team: Hiring, mentoring, and being a player-coach to a team of talented Solution Marketing professionals and developer advocates that creates compelling narratives across personas, customer segments and industries.Developing a content ecosystem around solutions, and partner with our content team to create assets (case studies, webinars, blog posts, etc.) that effectively tell the solution story and address different stages of the buyer's journey.Increasing engagement with the developer community, promote the company's technology, and provide valuable feedback to internal teams.
Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for developer advocacy that align with company goals.Engage with developer advocates to create a developer-focused content strategy to provide thought leadership.Promote an engaged, thriving and supportive developer community through various channels such as social media, events, and meetups.
Analyzing Marketing performance and optimizing strategies: Partnering with the Demand Generation campaign leaders and our MOps team, you will monitor and action key metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and continuously iterate on your approach.Requirements:
10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, preferably with a focus on solutions marketing.5+ years successfully leading and developing a global marketing team in roles that have progressively increased in scope and breadth of functions and team size.Experience in crafting solution narratives and identifying key story elements that resonate with buyers.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise messaging for B2B audiences.Strong understanding of how different content formats can be used to tell different parts of the solution story.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive demand and revenue.Deep understanding of the B2B buying journey and how to create content that resonates with different buyer personas.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure and track the impact of marketing initiatives.Passion for SaaS, technology, and staying ahead of the latest trends.PagerDuty is a flexible, hybrid workplace. The base salary range for this position is 168,000 - 262,000 USD.
