Under the direction of the Visual Lead, you provide extraordinary customer experiences and bring the Neiman Marcus Brand and fashions to life through magical and powerful storytelling with window displays and in-store activations within a Neiman Marcus store location.What You'll DoBrand Standards
Follow NMG Brand standards and brand partner standards within the storeEnsure that the store experience reflects NMG Corporate programsImplement all Corporate directive strategies as delegated by the Visual Lead (e.g., Holiday Story)Windows & In-Store Activations
Interpret the Neiman Marcus direction and current trends through in-store presentationProvide direction and helps merchandise the selling floor (e.g., floor presentation, fixture placement, trend presentation, vendor standards) with the Visual Manager, Sales Manager, and Assistant Sales ManagerCreate in-store environments to showcase luxury customer platforms by making it personal, unconditional, and magicalDemonstrate an understanding of how visual activities increase salesIncrease sales by ensuring all visual projects align with the store and brand strategy by:
Maintain store signage, mannequins, furniture, artisan elements, floral displays, carpets, and other visual elements
Complete tasks and follows direction of Visual Leads to build all merchandising and visual displaysFollow fashion style cards provided by Corporate on a monthly and seasonal scheduleOversee assigned family of business (e.g., Women's, Men's), as applicableMeetings / Calendars / Budgets
Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as applicable with the Sales Support team to understand and respond to visual merchandising changes based on expected new deliveriesCommunication with Main Partners / Events
Communicate supply needs, asks questions, and deliver upward feedback to managerBuild, in collaboration with Brand Experience, on event strategies and necessary event preparation activities (e.g., stage, chairs, florals, and décor) under the direction of Visual Leads and other Store LeadersMiscellaneous
Maintain visual workroom and studio organization with a focus on safetyWhat You Bring
1+ year visual merchandising experienceExcellent customer service skillsMotivated with a "Win together" mentalityDemonstrate a natural interest for fashion and trendsProficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint; Adobe InDesign or Autodesk RevitCertain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 poundsAssociates must work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends and holidaysInclusive BenefitsWe offer an inclusive and comprehensive range of benefits to our valued associates, including:
