About the team + role

At Robinhood, we're dedicated to redefining the financial industry through innovative Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and compelling brand narratives. We are on the lookout for a Creative Director with a strong background in copywriting to champion this transformation. This role is crucial for someone ready to infuse our brand messaging with a bolder, more provocative voice that captures the interest of a mature audience in novel and engaging ways.

As our Creative Director of GTM, you will lead the development and execution of GTM strategies for pre-conversion and in-product campaigns. You'll craft impactful campaign strategies, develop promotional materials, and collaborate with diverse teams and partners. Additionally, you will co-lead with our Design Director to ensure cohesive and innovative design integration throughout all work.

Your strategic vision and creative prowess will energize our messaging across all platforms. This role is perfect for a transformational leader eager to mentor and grow a team of skilled copywriters, driving innovative communications that match our pioneering financial solutions.

What you'll do
  • Audience Insight: Delve deep into the heart of our target demographic, crafting content that resonates by addressing their needs, desires, and behaviors.
  • Compelling Storytelling: Use storytelling to captivate the audience, evoke emotions, and clearly communicate the unique value of our brand.
  • Persuasive Communication: Develop concise, powerful copy that articulates the benefits of our products and inspires action.
  • Brand Voice Mastery: Maintain a consistent tone and voice across all content channels, strengthening our brand identity and fostering audience trust.
  • Creative Adaptability: Innovate and adapt across different media formats to keep our messaging fresh, relevant, and impactful.
  • Product Narratives: Generate compelling product descriptions that highlight how our solutions uniquely address customer needs.
  • Dynamic Marketing Materials: Craft marketing materials that combine persuasive text with eye-catching visuals to improve product appeal and engage potential customers.
  • Ad Copy Excellence: Create striking ad copy that captures attention and conveys key benefits, prompting consumer engagement and actions.
  • SEO-Optimized Web Content: Enhance website visibility and user experience with content optimized for SEO that guides potential customers from discovery through to conversion.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood's equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$200,000-$235,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$176,000-$207,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL)

$156,000-$183,000 USD
