The Engineering Marketing Web and Lead Gen and CMS team manages nearly 150 websites, applications and services, all the way from infrastructure, backend and frontend development. We support a variety of marketing and philanthropic initiatives within the company and have a diverse codebase to reflect that. On any given day you could be developing enhancements for high-profile sites like bloomberg.com/professional or mikebloomberg.com, working with a creative team of designers and product owners to build the next big UX experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web tools and techniques, or working with public cloud technologies like AWS to improve performance and resiliency of our systems.
We are a full-stack team, from front end to back end, UX to infrastructure, we do it all, and work directly with stakeholders and other teams to ensure we're delivering the best quality software in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently looking for a Team Lead who can manage a group dedicated to providing and supporting high availability CMS and web products. If you have experience working with WordPress or any other large-scale CMS, this may be the opportunity for you. You will lead by demonstrating strong product knowledge within the Web, Cloud, and Marketing domains.

Salary Range: 200,000 - 300,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

You'll Need To Have:
- 5+ years of web development experience in PHP, maintaining scalable, highly available sites
- 2+ years in leadership, managing and coaching globally distributed teams and influencing third party technology strategy
- Previous experience with WordPress in production environments, and creation of custom themes and plugins
- Work across the full stack with modern front-end technologies like ES6+, Webpack, React, and modern CSS Frameworks.
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
- History of successfully delivering on key initiatives and driving long-term strategic technology plans
We'd Love To See:
- Deep understanding of WordPress or Content Management Systems
- Experience with digital marketing, lead generation, prospect pipelining or other aspects of marketing engineering
- Previous work in cloud environments, primarily with AWS and distributed systems.
- Experience improving site performance (caching, CDNs, database optimization, front end performance, SEO/SEM)
- Architecture and long-term development planning
