POSITION SUMMARY

The Producer will work closely with RealTruck Directors, Producers, the Creative/Design team, and third-party Production partner/vendors to support the development and execution of video and photo content from inception through final delivery. This will include supporting the strategic direction and production goals of stakeholder teams, leading through all phases, and ensuring projects are produced on strategy, within budget, and to the highest levels of creative excellence. This role will require a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects while maintaining high standards of creativity, budget adherence, and timely delivery.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Pre-Production
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop creative briefs and project requirements.
  • Assemble and manage scalable production teams, including staff, freelancers, and third-party vendors, depending on the needs of each project.
  • Secure talent, locations, and necessary equipment for each shoot, working with talent agencies, location scouts, and other vendors to ensure everything is in place before production begins.
  • Handle logistics such as product availability, vehicle sourcing, travel arrangements, and lodging for remote shoots, ensuring all logistical needs are met.
  • Create detailed call sheets and manage all pre-production paperwork, ensuring every team member is fully prepared for the shoot.
  • Create production and post-production calendars to ensure all stakeholders are informed and launch goals are met.

Production
  • Act as line producer during shoots, ensuring that production runs smoothly, on schedule, and according to the shot list and creative brief.
  • Supervise the execution of content shoots, ensuring high-quality results that align with the brand's image and marketing goals.
  • Oversee talent and crew coordination on shoot days, providing direction and maintaining efficient workflow to capture all necessary footage and photos.

Post-Production Management
  • Coordinate the hand-off of footage to post-production teams, ensuring smooth transitions from raw content to final assets.
  • Oversee editing, retouching, and final asset production, working with internal or external editors and retouchers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Facilitate review of final deliverables, ensuring all content meets brand guidelines, quality standards, and project objectives for approval.
  • Work closely with publishing and data asset manager, including delivering content via a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system or other standardized platforms for stakeholder access.

Project Management and Coordination
  • Support RealTruck Directors and Producers on multiple complex and overlapping projects internally and with external vendors (scoping, timelines, bidding, awarding, pre-pro, workload assessment, etc.)

Oversee Production Budgets
  • Monitor and manage production budgets, ensuring all projects are within financial constraints without compromising quality.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and freelancers, ensuring cost-effective solutions for production needs.
  • Track expenses and provide financial reports to the marketing and finance teams for each production.

Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all productions meet high standards of quality, consistency, and brand alignment across all content.
  • Establish and maintain quality control processes, including reviewing dailies during production and final edits during post-production, to ensure content excellence.
  • Identify potential risks and troubleshoot issues during both pre-production and production phases to prevent delays or compromises in quality.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts or comparable content production industry experience required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of production experience required; additionally post-production experience a plus.
  • Experience working with a DAM is preferred.
  • Experience video publishing platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, BrightCove preferred.
  • A reel or samples of previous work in which candidate directly produced within Producer role.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, experience working within a Project Management System.
  • Excellent written and verbal language skills required. Ability to proof-read copy and scripts.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written install guides is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions. Ability to determine scope and timeline for a given project.

Travel
  • 30-40% travel will be required. International travel will be required.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead: working team member who coordinates, supports, trains, and is a knowledge resource for other team members. No direct reports or supervisory responsibility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This position is subject to Light Work: Exerting up to 20-40 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls require exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Physical Activities
  • This position is subject to the following physical activities: balancing, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Visual Acuity
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions
  • This position will operate in an office environment with outside environmental conditions when on location/travel.
